Injured Police Officers Fund Thanks Las Vegas McDonald’s for
Supporting Our Fallen Heroes

LAS VEGAS – The Injured Police Officers Fund thanked McDonald’s
locations in Southern Nevada Friday for raising over $45,000 to benefit the
families of the three victims of the northeast Las Vegas shooting June 8.

“With the help of our local McDonald’s, our goal was to raise $35,000 to
help support the families of those killed on June 8, and we beat that by
over $10,000,”said Sergeant Richard Strader, of the Injured Police Officers
Fund. “It was amazing to see the amount of people who turned out in support
of the families of the victims.”

Participating McDonald’s locations in Las Vegas donated $1 from every
breakfast sandwich, large sandwich, McWrap and premium salad purchased on
June 20 to the Injured Police Officers Fund and the Joseph R. Wilcox
Memorial Fund. The event raised $45,383 and all proceeds will benefit the
families of Joseph Wilcox, Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo.

“Our community will always carry our fallen heroes in our hearts, and with
the help of businesses like McDonald’s and the support of the community, we
will be able to help lessen the burden on their families,” said Strader.
“Our community continues to show that we will stand with the families of
those killed on June 8 financially and emotionally for as long as they
